Is my phone eSIM compatible?

Most phones from 2019 onward support eSIM, but carrier-locked handsets and some China-market models do not.

What to do

1. iPhone: XS / XR and later support eSIM. Open Settings → General → About and look for an EID — if EID is listed, the phone supports eSIM.
2. Android: check Settings → About phone for an EID, or dial *#06# and look for EID alongside the IMEIs.
3. The phone must be carrier-unlocked. A locked handset will refuse the profile even though it is eSIM-capable.
4. Mainland-China iPhone models (dual physical SIM) generally have no eSIM hardware; Hong Kong and international models do.
5. Not sure? Send us the exact model in support before buying — cheaper than finding out at the airport.
