Activate the $3 T-Mobile plan: ZIP, AREA, IMEI2 and EID

Only the $3 plan needs activation details from you. The $5 / $6 / $10 / $15 lines are activated for you before delivery.

What to do

1. This step applies only to the $3/mo plan (30 minutes + 30 SMS). $5 / $6 / $10 / $15 lines arrive already activated — skip straight to installing the eSIM.
2. Reply to the activation email with the ZIP code and AREA (state) of the US service address you want on the line.
3. eSIM delivery: send the EID of the phone that will hold the line. Physical card in a dual-SIM phone: send IMEI2.
4. The phone must be carrier-unlocked and support the bands of the plan.
5. We submit the activation upstream and you get the number plus instructions once the carrier confirms. Missing or mistyped identifiers are the most common cause of delay.
