When using this SIM outside the US (e.g. in Mainland China/Asia), enabling Wi-Fi Calling allows zero-roaming voice calls and SMS receiving. iPhone XR, XS, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 & later models natively support T-Mobile Wi-Fi Calling out of the box via iOS Settings -> Cellular -> Wi-Fi Calling.
